Troisième du cycle « Art & Langage », l’exposition « Isabelle Lévénez – cris & écrits » est l’occasion de mettre en valeur le travail d’une artiste, apparue sur la scène nationale il y a une quinzaine d’années, et qui se détermine à l’ordre d’une troublante relation entre texte et image. Figure centrale de l’œuvre de l’artiste, le corps y est l’objet de toutes sortes de mises en jeu, qu’il soit celui de l’autre ou le sien propre, celui mémorable de l’enfance ou d’un âge plus mature.

Third in the cycle “Art & Language”, the exhibition “Isabelle Lévénez – cries & writings” is an opportunity
to further put forward the work of an artist who has been on the national scene over the past fifteen years and that is defined by the tension between text and image. Central figure to the artist's work, the body is subjected to all kinds of involvements, whether that of another or its own, the one of a memorable childhood or of
a more mature age.
