J'ai pensé une exposition à l'image d'un paysage contrasté : voir / expérimenter / sentir ; de près / de loin ; se déplacer / s'arrêter ; devant / dedans ; des reliefs hauts en couleur et des choses plus ténues. Huit artistes aux pratiques diverses (peinture, dessin, photographie, sculpture, création sonore) investissent la totalité des espaces sur près de 1000 m2 : espaces domestiques du château, vastes volumes des anciennes écuries, alcôves intimistes de la bergerie. Six d’entre eux ont réalisé tout ou partie des oeuvres présentées dans le cadre d’une résidence au Domaine. Je remercie Karim Ghaddab pour le regard porté sur cette exposition et les mots qui l'accompagnent.

I had the idea of an exhibition akin to a contrasted landscape: seeing/ experimenting/sensing; close to/
faraway; moving/ stopping; in front/ inside; very colourful reliefs and more subtle things. Eight artists
with differing activities (painting, drawing, photography, sonic work) are occupying all the various areas, covering almost 1000 sq.m./ 11,000 sq.ft: the household parts of the castle, the huge volumes of the old stables, and intimate nooks in the sheepfold. Six of them have made
all or part of the works being presented as part of their residencies at the Domaine. I am most grateful to Karim Ghaddab for the way he has looked at this show, and
